Teena L Davis, LMT
Teena is a graduate of the Atlanta School of Massage. She
has been practicing bodywork and massage since 1986. Initially trained in Deep
Tissue and Swedish massage she has developed her own unique touch. It is a
deeply relaxing, firm yet gentle, flowing massage, specifically tailored to
meet the needs of the individual. She has hundreds of additional hours training
in multiple massage techniques, manual
therapies, and movement therapies, specializing primarily in pain relief. Teena assisted in the development of the Massage Therapy and Esthetician Programs for the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education . She taught massage at North Georgia Technical College and Lake Lanier School of Massage. Teena has been certified by the American
Academy of Pain Management, the
American Association of Fitness and Aerobics, and has held licenses in Florida
as well as National certifications. She is currently licensed in the state of Georgia.
I have performed bodywork and massage in an array of medical
settings, including Family Practice (M.D. and D.O.), Homeopathy, Acupuncture,
Chiropractic, Nutritionist, Pain Management, and Physical Therapy. I’ve also serviced
in Five Star Spa Resorts, Hair Salons and Fitness
Centers. I have experience teaching
aerobics, aquatics, diet, meditation, movement therapy, yoga, pain management coping
skills, anatomy & physiology and massage therapy.
Prior to bodywork and massage I worked in Vitamin
manufacturing and distribution and as a Travel agent specializing in Corporate
events planning.
My practice is based on the belief that my customers' needs are of the utmost importance. I am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.
